More Than 80 Years as Arizona’s Awning Company!

Founded in 1928, Arizona Awnings began as a family-owned and operated company with the slogan “everything in canvas.” They believed the key to success was fabricating and installing a high-quality product at a fair price while always focusing on customer service and satisfaction.
By following these principles, Arizona Awnings was able to withstand the Great Depression, World War II, a number of recessions and many other challenging economic and political times over the years.
In 1989, the current owners purchased Arizona Awnings from the founding family and after 80 years of operation, are still making an outstanding quality product at a fair price. Our customers have and always will be our top priority, just as they were eight decades ago.
We have been Arizona's Awning Company for the past 80 years and we plan on being here for 80 more by maintaining our commitment to quality and customer service.

Our Team

David Smith
Vice President – Sales Manager 

David is a Phoenix native who began his awning career while attending ASU in 1994. He had nearly a decade of experience in installation before making the transition into awning design and sales. He and his family have more than 40 years of combined awning experience.

Jim O'Leary IV
Vice President – General Manager 

Jim has more than 15 years of experience in sales and organizational management ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He earned an MBA in General Management in 2000 and began his awning career in 2004. Jim motivates his team to follow the principles that have guided Arizona Awnings for more than 80 years; build a high-quality product for a fair price and ensure our customers are our number one priority.

Keith Fincel 

Born and raised in Phoenix, Keith has more than a decade of experience in the installation, design and sales of awnings and shade systems for our customers. Keith is very passionate about creating solutions for our customers’ shade needs and will stop at nothing to find a way to make any project work.

Mike Lisciarelli
Installation Manager 

Mike is a native Phoenician who has more than 15 years of experience in awning installation and project management. He is an excellent time manager, keeping the job moving for an 'on-time' completion. He motivates his people to be the best and expects nothing less than perfection from our installation crews.
